Ella Carlsson is the Director General of the Swedish National Space Agency (SNSA), where she leads Sweden’s national and international efforts within the space sector. With a strong foundation in aerospace, defense, and strategic leadership, she brings a unique and highly relevant perspective to the future of space policy and development.

Before taking on the role at SNSA, Carlsson served as Head of Innovation at the Swedish Armed Forces, and previously worked within the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) and the Swedish Air Force. Her career spans both technical expertise and high-level strategic work, particularly in areas where space, security, and innovation intersect.
