John Auburn serves as the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) and Member of the Board at ReOrbit, bringing nearly 40 years of experience in the space industry. His extensive career includes roles such as Flight Dynamicist at the European Space Operations Centre (ESOC) and director-level positions at SCISYS, VEGA, and Telespazio Group. Notably, he was appointed Chairman of UKspace in 2006, where he played a pivotal role in establishing the European Space Agency’s presence at Harwell and setting up the International Space Innovation Centre.
Prior to joining ReOrbit, John was the Managing Director of Astroscale UK, overseeing strategic direction and global business development. At ReOrbit, he collaborates closely with the CEO to drive growth and address challenges within the space sector.
At Rymdforum 2025, John will share his insights on advancing space transportation and improving access to space, drawing from his extensive experience in strategy and business development within the industry.
